A 14 year old youngster from Uley has been specially selected to attend the 23rd Scouts Jamboree in Japan in 2015. More than 30,000 scouts from 162 countries will attend the event, learning and sharing about each others’ cultures.
It’s an amazing opportunity but she needs to raise £3000 for her trip.
You can help by supporting her enterprise to produce a collection of recipes from people who live and work in Uley which will also be designed to enlighten us on the personalities and backgrounds of our neighbours.
